I cant stress the importance to anybody that wants to start a kennel, that having a proper set-up is extremely important to health of your dogs and the ease of running a kennel. 

Make sure you have plenty of drainage and some sort of septic system! 

At GateKeeper Kennels we have 5 acres for our dogs to roam and we have went to great measure to make sure that our dogs are all up off the ground on concrete and half of their kennel is open to be able to sun bathe and the other half is covered so they can always maintain shade and get out of the weather.  We have a large privacy fenced backyard with plenty of room to play and exercise!

All puppies are raised indoors in our 400 square foot whelping room which is both heated and cooled for the comfort of the nursing mothers as well as the growing pups!  This also helps to maintain a sanitary location for mothers to raising these awesome puppies with no flies for maximum health!

Rest assure whether you are waiting on your monster pup to be shipped to you or entrusting us to house your female during stud service, we will do everything possible to keep these awesome animals as safe and healthy as possible!
